1) How do I sign up on CalJobSite.com?
Go to the Employers Tab and click on the Help Tab and read Point #1: Registering Your Account for instructions on signing up.


2) How do I post jobs?
Go to the Employers Tab and click on the Help Tab and read Point #2b: Post Job(s) to learn how to post jobs.


3) How do I view the resume bank?
Go to the Employers Tab and click on the Help Tab and read Point #2c: Review Resumes to learn how to review and search for resumes within the resume bank.

4) How do I print resumes?
After signing into your account, go to the Employers Tab and click on My Account Tab. On the left hand side of the page, click on the Resume Bank Link. Then, click on the resume of choice and click on the print icon on the browser toolbar to print the respective resume and related candidate info. If you only want to print the resume text, you have to copy the text within the resume box onto a word processing program and print using the word processing program’s print function.


5) How many jobs can I post?
There is no limit on the number of jobs you can post. However, the number of jobs posted depends on which pricing plan you have purchased. If you have purchased a membership, you can post unlimited jobs based on the membership you have purchased. Go to the Employers Tab and click on the Pricing Sub-Tab for more information on pricing.


6) How do I delete my account?
After signing into the site, go to the Employers Tab and click on the My Account Tab. On the left hand side of the page, click on the Delete Account Link and follow the instructions. If you want to re-sign up to the site, you have to re-register. If you need help to re-register to the site, see question/answer #1 above.


7) What if I forget my user name and or password?
On the Home page under the Members Area, there is a Forgot Your Password? hyperlink. Click on this link and enter the e-mail address you used to sign up to the website. The system will automatically e-mail you with your password.

If you still having trouble, send an e-mail to support@CalJobSite.com and include in your e-mail subject line: Need Password Reset. Also, include in the e-mail, the e-mail address you used to establish your account. For security purposes, we will reset your password so you can select the password of your choice. We will e-mail you with the reset password.

8) How do I contact CalJobSite.com?
If the FAQ or Help Sections do not answer your questions, then send an e-mail to Info@CalJobSite.com, and one of our representatives will get back to you as soon as they can.


9) How do I change my password?
After signing into the site, go to the Employers Tab and click on the My Account Tab. On the left hand side of the page, click on the My Info Link. Find the password box and change your old password to a new password. Also, make the applicable change in the password (repeat) box. Then, click on the Modify Button on the bottom right to make the change.


10) How do I change my e-mail address?
After signing into the site, go to the Employers Tab and click on the My Account Tab. On the left hand side of the page, click on the My Info Link. Find the email address box and change your old email address to a new email address. Also, make the applicable change in the repeat email address box. Then, click on the Modify Button on the bottom right to make the change.


11) Will job seekers have access to my job posting immediately after I post the job onto the web site?
All jobs are immediately posted for view when entered. However, payment is also due immediately after the job(s) is/are posted unless you have purchased a job package or membership. If payment is not received within three (3) days after the job is posted, then the unpaid job will be removed. The most efficient way to pay for a job posting is to use Paypal to make the purchase.


12) How do I create a company profile?
Go to the Employers Tab and click on the Help Tab and read Point #2d: Create Company Profile to add. modify, or delete a company profile.


13) How do I add a career event?
For Employers go to the Employers Tab and click on the Help Tab and read Point #2e: Adding a Career Event(s) to learn how to add a career event. For Non-Employers, e-mail info@CalJobSite.com for details on how to post a career event.


14) How do change a regular job posting to a featured job posting?
E-mail info@CalJobSite.com that you are interested in converting a regular job posting(s) to a featured job posting(s) in order to receive more exposure for the open job(s). Indicate in the e-mail which job(s) you wanted converted into a featured job. Then, send a payment for $50/per job posting to CalJobSite.com (See the Employer's Pricing Page for payment options). Once payment is received, CalJobSite.com will covert the regular job posting(s) to a featured job posting(s). The fastest way to send payment is to use PayPal. See the Employer's Pricing Page for details on how to use PayPal, or if you do not have a PayPal account, you can click on the PayPal graphics (on the Employer's Pricing Page) to sign up for a PayPal account.


15) How do I receive resume applications from job seekers?
When jobseekers view your job posting they have an option to apply for the open job. If they do, you can view the resume applications following these instructions: Go to the Employers Tab and click on the Help Tab and read Point #2f: Receiving Job Applications/Resumes for more information.


16) How do I know if it is worth utilizing CalJobSite.com?
True value can be summed up by finding solid candidates from CalJobSite.com. We have created several metrics so that an employer can determine whether CalJobSite.com is working as a marketing vehicle to find job seekers.

Below are the metrics provided to the employer:
  • Number of Views: this is the number of times that a user views a job posting
  • ROI # of Views: this is the return on investment on the amount paid for the respective job posting. For free job postings, the ROI will equal N/A.
  • Number of Applications: this is the number of applications/resumes submitted by the job seeker for a particular job.
  • ROI # of Applications: this is the return on investment on the amount paid for the respective job posting. For free job postings, the ROI will equal N/A.
