Launched in 2005, CalJobSite.com is no ordinary job web site because our focus
is devoted exclusively to the State of California. Since California is one of
the most diverse and populous states in the United States, we feel that this market
is underserved by all the current employment assistance options (job agencies,
websites, etc.) in the marketplace. California has a population of approximately
35 million people with over 14.5 million people that make up its labor force.
With its large labor force and employer base, its numerous governmental, educational
and business institutions, and its diverse cultural make-up, California is an
ideal region to benefit from a locally focused job site. Our local focus gives
us an advantage because most job seekers want to find a job where they have a
home, a family, and a network of people that they know. Along the same lines,
employers want local candidates because there are no or minimal relocation, travel,
and other related costs when hiring a local candidate.

Background
CalJobSite.com is Forward Source's (People Division) job web site e-commerce
business. Forward Source is a unique consulting company that provides a full service
of outsourcing solutions to businesses that want to optimize their business model
by outsourcing certain jobs/departments or business processes, or need knowledgeable
and experienced consultants/employees to assist with certain business improvement
or enhancement projects.
